E finito !

Blue baby set is finished :) All set, washed, aromatic and soft. Ready to be packed with extra blue yarn and extra button. And to be given as a present :)

This is the way of working with thimble - it easy :) Put it on your finger, then put the yarn between plastic bulges, and then methal stick over. The yarn goes over the fingers in usual way. The problem may occur when using one color more than other.

New yarn

Here is some new yarn, that I purchasted a few days ago:

Yarn ANA: 45% wool, 10% cashmir, 35% polyester and 10% viscose. TINA: 30% wool, 70% PAC....

Grey - It will be a sweater for my brother, due to be started in November. I hope I'll do it well, because this is my first cable knitting.
Green and Ochre - vest from magazine Brigitte, number from some 10 years ago. I always wanted it, so ... it is time :)

Blue set progress

Back to knitting news :)

The blue set is growing fast, because it is so small and cute. Some days ago I've finished the trousers, knitted braces, and sewed buttons. And then I started the sweater - in pattern they suggest using circular needles, but it seems I will never get used to them. So I used ordinary, strait needles.

This red thimble for different color dividing is absolutly irreplaceable for Norwegian pattern.

And for 3 afternoons (and a couple of minutes before going to work), I managed to finish fron and back peace, and one sleeve.
